Massage Room

Choose from several different kinds of body work and massage styles, with or without essential oils.

Raindrop Technique “rejuvenate the mind, balance the body”
A sequence of anointing with oils and laying on of hands to the back, feet and spine that brings structural and electrical alignment to the body in a relaxing and invigorating manner through the power of essential oils. The oils used in Raindrop Technique must be of high quality and therapeutic grade. It is a combination of various aspects of conventional bodywork, adaptations of Oriental acupressure and reflexology (Vita Flex), Native American healing techniques & aromatherapy using therapeutic-grade essential oils.  The purpose of Raindrop Technique is to stimulate every organ, muscle and bone of the body at a cellular level through the oils, boosting the immune system, and bringing the body into structural/electrical balance including those illnesses lodged in the mind & emotions.  The Raindrop Technique uses 7 essential oils, 2 essential oils blends, 2 massage oils, and is offered for $150.

Swedish Massage – “stimulates circulation while relaxing your body”
A variety of techniques specifically designed to relax muscles by applying pressure to them against deeper muscles and bones, and rubbing in the same direction as the flow of blood returning to the heart.  Through Swedish massage there is an increase in the oxygen flow in the blood and a release of toxins from the muscles.  Swedish massage shortens recovery time from muscular strain by flushing the tissues of lactic acid, and other metabolic wastes.  It increases circulation without increasing heart load.  It stretches the ligaments and tendons keeping them supple and pliable.  Swedish massage also stimulates the skin and nervous system and soothes the nerves at the same time.  Swedish massage reduces emotional, physical stress and is available at $95 for an hour.

Therapeutic Deep Tissue Massage – “focuses on releasing muscle tension, minimizing pain, and relieving stress”
Deep tissue techniques are generally designed for more focused massage work.  Working a specific joint, muscle, or muscle-group, a practitioner can access deeper layers of the soft tissue.  Starting superficially and easing into the depth of the muscle slowly often allows more movement and recognizes that each person experiences pressure differently.  This very specifically effective massage is available at $95 for an hour.

Aromatherapy – “Stimulate your senses with essential oils”
Aromatherapy allows us to benefit from the therapeutic properties of these natural essences, working in harmony with mind and body.  The effects of essential oils can be stimulating and relaxing.  They can soothe and refresh the mind, beautify the skin and body, stimulate the senses or induce feelings of calmness. The idea behind aromatherapy is, first, to find the scents, unique for each individual, that evoke positive sensory feelings and emotions; and then to introduce those scents to enhance well-being.  Aromatherapy releases stress, sooths the mind and body, and is available at $95 for an hour.

Reflexology - "is a complementary therapy, which works on the feet to helps relax the mind and body and counteract stress."
The art of reflexology dates back to Ancient Egypt and help restore and maintain the body’s natural equilibrium.  This gentle therapy encourages the body to work naturally to restore its own healthy balance.  This therapy is available in 30 or 60 minute sessions at $70 or $95.  Essential oils may be added at $5 each.
